ANZAC Day in Bangalow is set to be a meaningful and lively community gathering, with the Bangalow Lions Club bringing the action back to the Showgrounds Kiosk.
Following the morning’s commemorations, locals and visitors are invited to head over to the Bangalow Showgrounds where the Lions will be opening the kiosk from midday. With a full BBQ menu on offer and a welcoming atmosphere, it’s the perfect place to come together, reflect, and connect with the community.
A highlight of the afternoon will be the traditional Two Up game, kicking off at 2pm in the Rotunda hosted by Nashy. Held undercover and right near the kiosk, it’s a chance to take part in a classic ANZAC Day tradition in a relaxed and social setting.
Importantly, all proceeds from the day will go back into supporting local charities and community groups, including veterans’ organisations and emergency services.
